Story & Silhouette is a strategic and creative consultancy helping fashion brands build distinctive, desirable and enduring identities. We work across brand positioning, creative direction, visual storytelling and brand expression — bringing together strategic clarity and a deep understanding of fashion culture, image and audience.
Founded by Sonia Singh, Story & Silhouette is built on more than 18 years of experience inside the fashion industry. After completing a Master’s degree at Regent’s College London and a postgraduate diploma at NIFT New Delhi, Sonia went on to build her own fashion label and develop extensive experience across the fashion business, before establishing her practice in styling, creative direction and brand consulting.
Today, she brings these perspectives together to help fashion brands define their identity, sharpen their point of view and create work that is both commercially considered and creatively distinctive.
While fashion remains at the heart of the consultancy, Story & Silhouette also works selectively with beauty and lifestyle brands where there is a strong creative and strategic fit.

Sonia Singh
Fashion-led, Creative-driven.
Story & Silhouette is led by Sonia Singh, a fashion professional and creative strategist with over 18 years of experience across the industry. Her work sits at the intersection of fashion, brand building and visual storytelling — bringing together a deep understanding of what makes a brand distinctive, relevant and commercially compelling.
With a Master’s degree from Regent’s College London and postgraduate training from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi, Sonia combines international business perspective with specialist fashion expertise. Her experience as a founder, brand builder and creative professional gives her a rare understanding of the brand from the inside out — from defining its point of view to shaping how it is ultimately seen.
Today, Sonia works directly with fashion brands on brand positioning, creative direction, fashion styling, campaign concepts and production, visual storytelling and brand development. She also works with selected beauty and lifestyle brands where a strong creative point of view and considered brand positioning are central to the brief.
Her approach is deliberately personal and highly collaborative. Every project is shaped by a clear understanding of the brand, its audience and its ambitions — translating ideas into distinctive creative work that feels considered, relevant and unmistakably its own.
